Wilderness Maple Roasted Almonds
Ingredients
  • 8 C raw whole almonds
  • 4 TBSP melted butter or for non-dairy I use Nucoa
  • 1 C maple syrup
  • 1 TSP coarse salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Place almonds in a large bowl. In a small mixing bowl, combine the melted butter or Nucoa and maple syrup, whisking until well combined.
  3. Pour over the almonds, stirring well with a wooden spoon or spatula until nuts are evenly coated.
  4. Spread almonds onto the prepared baking sheet, and sprinkle with salt.
  5. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, rotating baking sheet and stirring the nuts half-way through to ensure even roasting.
  6. Be careful not to over bake.
  7. Allow the almonds to cool completely on the baking sheet on a wire cooling rack, then transfer to an airtight container.
  8. Maple Roasted Almonds will keep for 1 week in an airtight container at room temperature if they last that long. 🙂
