Simple Life Sunday Blog Hop

Thanks so much for joining me for Simple Life Sunday.  Grab your cup of tea or coffee and sit down with me and join me while I look through all the wonderful posts everyone has shared! Before you leave be sure to share one of your favorite posts.

We have been having some GORGEOUS weather here in Idaho.  Nearly 60 degrees yesterday which is honestly insane for northern Idaho in February.  We are setting records this year considering our last frost last year was the 2nd week in July!  Hard to say what is around the next corner.  We have grass growing, my honey bees are excited to be venturing out and the robins have appeared!!  I am SO thankful for the sun because we have had weeks and weeks and weeks of rain and I am just as solar powered as my house…

Last Sunday we were able to get out and go hiking for the day which was AMAZING and the Mountain Boy and I got out for a 2 hour hike on Thursday which felt SO GOOD!!  Getting exercise is so good for your body, mind and spirit.  I do a lot with aromatherapy with my essential oils, but there is still nothing better than getting out into the wilds and allowing God’s natural form of aromatherapy take over.  Not to mention, the visible eye candy of nature and how it stimulates our senses, God’s simple pleasures and the good company of my family and in this case my son!

He and I have always found our peace in the woods.  When either one of us was having a rough day, a nature hike was all that was necessary to turn that situation around!  Be sure to take time for yourself this week and enjoy the beauties around you!

You guys are doing amazing in sharing incredible posts!!  I had a really hard time last week and this week as always….  Excited as well to see new faces.  Be sure to use the link below to subscribe to the Simple Life Sunday Newsletter to get reminders on when the hop goes live so you can come and participate and check the out the wonderful shares….

I’d like to thank Kathi from Oak Hill Homestead with her post A Goal Is A Dream With A Deadline.  I made some MAJOR changes to my life this year and the way to make the changes is to stick with them.  I have been very successful because these changes were encouraged by my heart and our heart is a very powerful thing and I am a very determined person, BUT there are many that struggle with resolutions, goals, dreams and even desires.  Do you know you CAN make things happen??  Sometimes we just need that encouragement and also GREAT resources to which Kathi shared in her post.  If you are struggling right now with some goals that you have set for this year, be sure to write that goal down on a piece of paper, your bathroom mirror, or anywhere you will see it often.  A constant reminder in our face is often times what we need most.  Additionally, track your progress and check in on your goal(s) from time to time so that you can hold yourself accountable.  Thank you Kathi for sharing your GREAT post!   Blessings lovely lady to you and yours….

You CAN do this!!  Stay with it….

Thank you for sharing and I would like to invite you to join Kat’s Sunday Social (our sister hop) ♥

I look very forward to seeing what you will have to share this week!
