Thanks so much for joining me for Simple Life Sunday. Grab your cup of tea or coffee and sit down with me and join me while I look through all the wonderful posts everyone has shared! Before you leave be sure to share one of your favorite posts.
I'm a bit late today in getting this out for you all to see… I hope you are all enjoying your family, summer, bountiful harvest and God's grace… We are doing well, but BEYOND crazy this time of year! We have some BIG projects we are working on so for all you Prayer Warrior's out there, if you would keep our family in prayer for strength, guidance and safety, I would GREATLY appreciate it!
I'd like to thank the Ten Acre Homestead for returning with a wonderful post How To Make Granny's Old Fashioned Fig Preserves. I LOVE preserves and we used to LOVE Fig Newton cookies, but because we are making everything these days from scratch our own version is on the list and this sparked an interest in trying to make a fig preserve filled cookie… Stay tuned for my report back and thank you again Newbie Steader for sharing your great posts!! Blessings to you and yours!
Thank you all for joining me today.
I look very forward to seeing what you will have to share this week!

God bless you and yours and may your day be filled with Simple Pleasures!

Good evening, Tammy. I simply adore fig newtons! I think I’m gonna try making them also! It should be fairly easy with the fig preserve recipe from Ten Acre Homestead. Have a wonderful week!
Thank you so much for the feature Tammy! I truly appreciate you’re giving us the platform to share and learn from each other. I hope you have a great week and that those fig newtons turn out half as tasty as they sound. 🙂
