Thanks so much for joining me for Simple Life Sunday. Grab your cup of tea or coffee and sit down with me and join me while I look through all the wonderful posts everyone has shared! Before you leave be sure to share one of your favorite posts.
My hope is that everyone enjoyed as nice of a Thansgiving as we did. It was super relaxing and as always extremely filling! It has been a busy week here in he wilderness. We hve been blessed wih many orders to fill and we have all been busy. The Mountain Boy is weaving lots of paracord, the Mountain Man is busy in his smithy pounding steel and I have been busy in the kitchen making soaps and soy bricks.
Another fun part of being in the kitchen this week has been utilizing all the elderberries that we foraged. I made juice with my steamer/juicer, dehydrated some for my teas this winer and made jelly, syrup, a tincture, elderberry, pear and apple fruit leather and I am going to try elderberry powder. Stay tuned for more on all of this – I am in the process of editing my videos. I am also working on a fermenting series, using my kombucha for vinegar and salad dressing and doinga LOT with sourdough… Busy busy all the time…
